Android Question Sms Incepter

Hi everyone,

how can I create a Sms incepter service without restarting the Service over and over again? how does the application notice that a sms is incoming?

The intentfilter will start your service if a sms comes in. No need to do it manually

thabk you very much that is what i needed.

Excuse the question but is there already a solution for deleting messages before the os put them in the default sms messanger when working with the starting intent? or can i mute them and then delete them automatically after the default app got them.

On never Android ONLY the default SMS App can delete messages.
