I've only just purchased my licence for B4i and will start coding with it shortly...leading to me saying that a similar IDE and designer for both Android and iOS AND also code re-use between the two platforms should help cut down that bloat in time for Android development

#4: The author doesn't know about Android Studio and B4A? Android Studio has been offered as the "official" tool for Android developers since May 2013. Android Studio has a WYSIWYG layout editor. B4A has had WYSIWYG layouts since it launched in 2011.
