Hi guys,
I have an error while tried to install an updated app.
Android App Not Install.
An existing package by the same name with a conflicting signature is already installed.
I didn't remember to put a signature on the old installed app.
If I uninstall old app, new app installation runs OK.
The problem is, old app already have data, so uninstall it will wipe its data. Users can safe its old data and retrieve again after new installation, but this need another effort from users side which are not always success due to users skill.
Is there a solution to this problem? Perhaps get a signature from old app so the new app can use the same signature?
Thanks in advance.
