Hi, on a new 10" tablet with Android 11 I am having that problem with any application created with B4A.
Even also the "B4A Bridge" app has that problem.
Even with an application that has only one button.
Usually the whole screen goes blank, and if I hit the "back key" it exits (sometimes) and if I try to enter again then sometimes it starts fine (sometimes).
I have downloaded, for testing purposes, from the google store several apps and they all work fine.
I'm lost!!! I don't get it, it's 6 tablets the same.
I have seen this thread which is similar to what is happening to me:
What could be going on?

Solution
I had the same problem some time ago.
As sugested here several times : remove the Starter module.
The problem is : with de...

Hi, I have some samsung but none of them don't have android v11.
Anyway, why do other programs work well?
That's what I don't understand.
What could be the culprit for it not working?
are these.

You've got what you've paid for; quite often, the cheaper the price, the cheaper the quality.

Yes, I agree, they are low quality, low memory, slow and cheap, but.... why does a simple application with a button not work?
Why sometimes an application works and sometimes it doesn't?
Why do some applications, even great ones, work perfectly?
There must be a logical reason.

The answer to all of your question is simply the quality problem of the device in question.

There are so many phones/devices from so many different manufactors; they're quite different in terms of quality and features. It's not a good idea to expect each of them works perfetly with B4A.

If I were you, I would take @agraham's advice in a heart beat and move on. As long as your app works with popular brands in the market, you should be okay.

By logic I can understand that if the screen is low quality and low resolution then it will not look very sharp.
If the processor is slow then everything will run slower.
If it has low memory then it won't be able to run large programs.

But any program should run, even if it doesn't look very sharp and runs slowly.

What is not logical is that a simple program with a button won't even start.
That any program sometimes starts and sometimes does not.
That some programs, even big ones, work perfectly.

It is not logical.

I am looking for some way to solve the problem because it is going to cost me several thousand euros to change the tablets to the customer.

I use brands from China, not problem. In fact I have some tables working 5+ years on restaurants, working 48/7.

When i back home ? will try in android11.
(Only but - i haven't updated b4a yet)
Do you want some special test to run?

I see those tablets use Android 11 Go Edition, maybe your App is using too much memory?

I have problems even with a test application that has only one button.
I have to exit the program and try again, then sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't work.
It's all very random.

I upload a couple of programs in case you can test with android 11.
Thanks.

Hi, having a look at different solutions I have seen that the permissions of the applications I am testing are "denied". And now that I think about it, it doesn't show the dialog asking whether to allow any permissions. has android 11 changed the system of granting permissions?
I mean, it used to ask, for example, "The app wants to access storage, allow?", "The app wants to access its location, allow?", etc.... But now the dialog is not shown, and if I go to app info I see that permissions are denied, and it hasn't asked for it.
Is there something new that I have not taken into account for android 11?

I checked Android 11 Go Edition and it says this version has more strict permission/privacy protection, maybe that's the reason. However, sometime it works then it is strange, since if that's the reason then it should always not work?

Under "System Information" it says Android 11
It does not say anything about "Go Edition".
