how is firebase-inappmessaging relevant here? There is NO wrap for firebase-inappmessaging available. It is still in beta btw.

I had a fresh install and had opened an old project using firebase messaging. That is when the compiler complained !

The path shown is where I expected the dagger folder to be present according to your post!

Maybe I am not clear !
I am not using firebase inapp messaging , but firebase notifications library. Since the search for the com.google.dagger problem turned up in your post , I referenced it here.
PS: PROBLEM SOLVED
