Android Question Sometimes (Quite Often) Assets Can't Be Found

This is really strange! In B4A 9.5, I can drop an asset into the files folder, and my app just can't see it. Sometimes if I rename it (F2), it can be seen, and other times not! Thoughts?

Does Tools, Clean Project also fix the problem ie, make the asset visible to your app? Sometimes, or always?

What do you do if renaming it (F2) does not make the asset visible to your app?

Does it only happen when you drop the asset into the files folder, or also when using the "Add Files" button or context menu item?

Thank you all, it looks like it happens when I drag an asset in directly rather than "Add Files". I think I will use only that method from now on, although it is less convenient.

you can drag the files to the folder. You just need to use the SYNC Button in the filestab so the new files get listed...

That did not always seem to work. Sometimes I tried everything including that and renaming, and I had to delete and re-add the file using Add Files. I will try sync again the next time I attempt to drop a file in. Thank you!
