any idea if it will come in the future. Comming from a WebOS phone and I was promised sound recording a year ago, and it still hasnt come. Widget support and sound support are the only 2 features that I can think of that are missing from this awesome product. Really top notch stuff, some of the best I have seen and I have used computers since 1979.

Thank you for this feedback.
Both are planned to be added. Sound recording is actually a lot simpler than adding support for widgets.
I cannot say when exactly.

Badly Needed

Erel,

In surfing the support forum for B4a, there is a LOT of need/demand for the ability to both monitor/record sound from the microphone. We really need this, it's considered one of the basic functions of pretty much any Android phone. A lto of us have B4A projects on hold until this gets implemented.

I have been playing with Audiorecorder in the hope of making a recording as a wav file. Tried everything I can think of with no success. Seems only to do 3gp files even if "type" set to wav by definition of an integer called WAVE instead of THREE_GPP.
Has anyone successfully recorded a wav?
Agree lots of grovelling to "get at the microphone"

You can make wavs, mp3, 3gpp, mp4, etc
