Does anyone know how to trigger an event with the microphone?
Example: The pounding of a palm (sound) trigger kindled the phone screen?

You can use AudioStreamer: http://www.b4x.com/android/forum/pages/results/?query=audiostreamer&page=1&prefix=0 to track the microphone input. You will need to analyze the raw data.
