Is there a simple way to display a splash screen at the startup of an app?

I did it this way:

Add Panel1 that contain splash screen (logo, images, text...)

Sub Activity_Create(FirstTime As Boolean)

Dim TimerIntro As Timer
TimerIntro.Initialize("TimerIntro", 3000) 'show it in 3 sec
TimerIntro.Enabled = True

End Sub

Sub TimerIntro_Tick
Panel1.Enabled = False
Panel1.Visible = False
TimerIntro.Enabled = False
End Sub

Yes. I guess that the timer is also declared in Sub Globals. It is fine to redeclare variables.

You should add Panel1 by using designer window. It's easier to add your logo, copyright... into Panel1.
