Cyber crime in the age of AI

Ok it's long but it's very interesting (regardless of how much you know about cyber security stuff already).

But, those who have seen my responses on AI postings here will know, this pretty much vindicates my long held perspective about where AI will shoot off to from the go.

BTW The original Blade Runner, which I saw in the mid '70s, already addressed some of the "dangers" associated with this stuff. And, as Tyson points out, the original short story was published 60 years ago.

Suggests we're not that good at seeing the train in the tunnel......🙆🏻‍♂️.

Having fought off a phone phisher this week - who clearly had access to bank database data - I rest my case and .......

The fact is that most of the things can be used for both good or bad ending.
Stupid example:
at the store you can buy many different knives.
99% of the people will buy a knife to cut a steak.
But 1% could buy it some something not so nice.
Should the store stop selling knives?
AI can help us a lot for good things if used in the correct way as much as it can help someone else in making bad things in a better way.
Sadly.

When related to computer based things, the biggest and worst bug is the one between the chair and the keyboard.
