starting other app (with intent) in a window ?

Hello all,

Now that my "real" first Android app with B4A is finished, I'm starting with some automation of my modelrailroad room.
I have an application (RocRail, not my property, not B4A) running fine on my android device.
I also want to use my android device, to control some additional homebrewn hardware. (controlling lights, switching on and off appliances etc ...)
So far, so good ...

However, I want to be able to switch easely between both application.
My initial tought was to "call" RocRail from within my own application.
I managed to get this running via packetmanager and intent.

However, I would like to run this RocRail application, on a panel in my own application. Is this possible ?
Are there other possibilities to switch quickly between RocRail and my own app ?
RocRail needs to stay "running", otherwise my trains will stop.
Otherwise, it's important to switch quickly between them both.
(I also only have one hardware-button on my device, which returns me to "home")

Any help or advice is appriciated

It is not possible to embed another another application. You should use a Service to allow your application to run in the background.
