Android Question Storing file by users in their Google drive

At present user can store file in their Google drive manually through my android app.
Now I seek help
1. to store by coding without manual intervention.
2. To Work directly with the file stored in user's personal google drive without downloading.

Please clarify.
Is it possible to work directly withe the file stored in Google drive? (Like Google playbook app stores bookmarks, notes etc in users drive.)

Your program can read the remote file directly, after the user selected it.
