Strange Behavior

Hello

Very Strange Behavior in the Basic4PPC IDE (v6.90). I was wanting to test a small GPSSerial App. I could not load the frm nore could I Debug it.
The Test App works, with me it did not, for some REASON !
The v6.80 is in a sep Folder as v6.90. Problem with a INI File I had also, but only a few times. IDE still runs OK.

Any knowledge about this behavior ?

VERY STRANGE INDEED !!!

@ Klaus. now the GPSSerialTest works, in the IDE for some funny Reason. Please do not ask why. But it works correct using Comm Port 8 Sir.

DARN IT !

Problem here... I added in the IDE v6.90 a new Form, after this the GPSSerialTest works, and I am able to Compile. Wanting to check the new Form I had added, I cant load the Form, and cant Delete it. Getting this darn ERROR Msg.

Well now, both versions of Basic4PPC cant find the INI File.
Can I get some Help maybe on this Please. I Cant seem to be able to Delete a new Form that had been added. S..t. Whats up with this Problem here ?

Don't worry with the message 'Error loading ini file'.
Just click on OK and the IDE works fine, the default files are missing but you can load a program and it works.
When you ran B4PPC V6.80 with the message, leabe it and run it again the message disappears. But as sonn as you run version 6.90, the next time you run version 6.80 the message comes again.

I don't understand what you have done with the additional Form ?
Can you upload the source file.

The Problem with the INI File is OK. Thats no Problem. I was able to load into the IDE the GPSSeraialTest Form, but only after I had added a new Form1. Now, I am UNABLE to even delete Form1. ???
Why, I do not know.

Update: here is a Remake of the App. This works in the IDE without adding a second Form to the Project. Why ?
PS. @Klaus. for some Reason the Sub Globals had some part missing. Added missing part = code to Sub Globals. Please Test HTCSerial2 Zip. Works in the IDE without any Error Msgs.
