1) After F3 b4a did NOT have searched for anything before your press search or search all modules and so on...
Nothing is searched at this time so b4a cannot display anything because there are no findings at that moment.
In other languages it is handled equal if you use a search or search and replace. the marked string is put into the searchbox in the editfield but NOTHING is searched at this moment. Even in IDEs which costs thousands of Euro it is handle like this. I think the overhead of searching (and indexing) ALL BEFORE you say what you really want to search is too much.
2) The "normal" searchbehaviour if you search something is that the word at the cursor is searched. If you want to search a complete string then you have to mark all you want to search before you press f3 (here in b4a). I knew some IDEs for different languages and all act like this. It would irritate ME if b4a would do a complete stringsearch if my cursor on one word inside a string. I think other will think same about this.
