Android Question Sygic physical buttons?

I am creating a usb hardware interface for android for my car. It is basically buttons to start apps and such. One app I am looking to start is Sygic. I would like a button to call up the enter route screen within the app. Is there a way to do this with an intent? I have not found much info other than setting a specific address.

You can start the app with intent. Other than starting it you cannot control it unless this specific app exposes such an API.
