Android Question tabhost / panels

I've got a tabhost with some tabs on it, and some other panels. It seems I can't hide my panels, even though I send them to the back and make them invisible.

Am I missing something?

Without knowing what you have done and how it's impossible to give you a concrete advice !
You should post a small project showing the problem.
