Table field title change

Is there any way to set the text for the title (fieldname) of each field (column) in a database linked TABLE control?

I have to write the column name in Farsi (Persian script) in each column (row 0). Because these titles are in Farsi I cannot use them for the database fields (that may normally be the easiest way to assign specific titles to the table).

I'm not a SQLite expert but why not? They are just Unicode text strings aren't they?

Yes that makes sense. But to view them as Farsi characters on the device I need to install software (Mobidiv Arabizer) that corrupts the b4ppc IDE. That is why I was hoping to find code to edit the titles in a Table control. Just trying to avoid a vicious circle of problems.

You can set the columns names in your SQL query:

cmd.CommandText = "SELECT col1 AS abcd, col2 AS 'some_different_name' FROM table1"
