Android Question TabStripViewPager with buttons at the bottom

Is it possible to have the TabStripViewPager button panel at the bottom of the activity? Or perhaps even hide it?

Bonus question: Some threads are very long, for example the aforementioned. Is it possible to search a specific thread for keywords?

Thanks. These posts are indeed relevant. That would of course require that the button panel of the TabStripViewPager could be hidden. Otherwise there would be a panel at both the top and bottom.
