I have seen your work and your amazing creations so this coming from you means the world to us! an honor! After setting up a test VPS computer in the cloud running Windows Server 2019 with MS SQLExpress and the provided jRDC-project, importing the provided database, and after some fiddling in changing the connection strings in the B4A and B4J client projects, I got it working very well.
I am very impressed with the speed and refresh rate of the images being sent. It's only a bit laggy when connecting from my Android phone to my PC but that is probably because I have a high resolution (3440x1440) on my PC. However, you can change the way the images are transmitted and created so that can surely be overcome. However, the other way around, i.e. connecting to my Android device from the B4J-client (which is perhaps the most common use-case, at least for me) is working fine and is very smooth.
I have already written in the past a project of my own that permits me to control my Android phone from my computer but with fewer features than the Teamviewer Alternative project. From their code, especially the server-code, I have seen some really cool things which I can benefit from.
I haven't finished yet testing but will do so over the next coming days but so far, I am very pleased.
There are surely things that can be improved or things I might have implemented differently but hey, you are buying the sources just for that reason so you can do that on your own.
Overall, well-written code and easy to get up and working...and as they have already shown, support seems to be very good.
I can recommend the purchase of this source-code.
Hello,Hi all... I would like to use mariadb with the project. Did anyone succeed using it?

2-Once you have created the Database, redirect JRDC2 to the database and you are good to go
jRDC to mariadb connection problem
Hi all - I'm tearing what's left of my hair out here. I have a wampserver set up and can happily connect to a database when using the following in the config.properties file of jRDC (Mariadb 10.3.12 and java version 1.8.0_191) DriverClass=org.mariadb.jdbc.Driver...www.b4x.com
Thank you,
Saif
Was there any table structure, stored procedure modification ?.The Project has been updated, Please use the same link was have sent you before to download the update
6- Microsoft SQL database (.bak + .sql) have been updated as well
Hello,Was there any table structure, stored procedure modification ?.
I was almost halfway trying to convert the database to MySQL.
The script to convert the database to MariaDB in the B4XCode - Teamviewer Alternative Help Center was not 100% successful for me. Few syntaxes were not compatible with MySQL 5.7. There were few codes in the StoredProcedures which were MS SQL syntax that is to be changed to make it compatible with MySQL. I shall try to share the script as soon as I complete it. If there are changes in the table structure or new tables added then I may have to start the conversion process once again from the scratch
Hello,Question, does it work without router configuration?
1- Yes : https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/server-run-a-server-on-a-vps.60378/Can jrdc2 be installed on a linux server? And without root access?
How much you are charging for the code?Hello,
You need to have a server (VPS) to make it work publicly
-Install Database on the server
-Install JRDC2 on the server
-Open port for the JRDC2
-Point B4J + B4A projects to the JRDC2
and that's it
Thank you,
Saif
The price before the release was : 50$How much you are charging for the code?
Thanks!1- Yes : https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/server-run-a-server-on-a-vps.60378/

i have no idea what are you talking about or referring to, could you please explain more? the one thing i understood from your post is there is something wrong with Huawei ? this project project was built using Huawei phones.Has anyone noticed, that when the android client is installed you cannot type a reply to SMS messages on Huawei - with google messages app?
I have been complaining to googles deaf ears, But as I really needed to send an SMS today i uninstalled the android client and my messages are now working! you physically cannot type in anything in messages with this client installed??!?
Your problem is not from the android client.Has anyone noticed, that when the android client is installed you cannot type a reply to SMS messages on Huawei - with google messages app?

Your problem is not from the android client.
Just tested on 2 Huawei Phones :
First test :
1- installed the android client
2- started a session
3- ended the session
4- opened messages app
5- typed a message and sent
*Without any problem
Second test :
1- installed the android client
2- Opened the app
3- Closed the app
4- opened messages app
5- typed a message and sent
*Without any problem
After a quick test, its DEFINATELY something to do with the andoid client, I have just removed and reinstalled the client, at the moment I can type, but only some presses register. I will do a short video later.
