:sign0085: I am generating a plain vanilla text file from a sub routine that creates ither an HTML file of a text file. Both file sides are working perfectly. So I can create the relevant files and save them to use as attachments in a email. So far, so good.

but.....

SendBodyString = SendBodyString & curBlue.GetString("Title")

Title is the name of pieces of music pulled from the DB. I am trying to get one title per line and I have tried adding

&CRLF
& CRLF
& NL
& /n

and all variations on the theme but I can't seem to be able to get a carriage return and linefeed in the actual text file.

Please help someone?

Is this to be sent to HTML? If so, try <br>
If it is for a text file, I usually use Chr(13) & Chr(10) , though I think it is identical to crlf.

I give users the choice to use HTML or Text. The HTML version works perfectly but , personally I prefer to work with the text version because of what I need to do with it afterwards.

The end application for the text file is MS Word or similar.
