The universe is not real

Do you believe that we are just a character in a virtual reality world?

@aeric I think we are living in Matrix... I ve just forward your video and see some secs, because i ve already seen videos like these..

I believe that we are just some kind of energy in that "world" - no matter if die or live / enery will exist - but the bigger question for me is how "our" data synchronized with others, are we using some kind of protocol... (mqtt, websocket, api, etc).... wait a minute... we are talking

If we just check all those videos and start analyzing... we are going to lose a lot of time... and time is money, something we haven't...

TLDR (too make it simple), according to that theory, there is another more advanced level outside our world which is controlling this program (world or universe). How different characters like you and me are very advanced that we can have our own consciousness to determine our actions. Imagine AI can observe things and react to the 3D scene surrounding him. The outer level is many many times more advanced than our quantum computer which exist now.

The important part of the video is the last part, on the question of why suddenly scientist has this idea. It is because human is creating more and more advanced computer.

Someone need to intercept into the world of a game from outside.

Well, once a while I feel of deja vu. For me it is like the "programmer" is debugging the program and then "resume" the Debug mode to fix certain bugs.

Question is why the "programmer" don't add in aliens into the program? Why "he" added in so many "clues" to let us guess we are inside their program or simulations?

At the end of the day, I think we should not take things too seriously. No matter what the truth is, whether what religion you are in, we all have some kind of mission or reason of why we exist. Just live a life to what we believe worth it. Help and not harm others. One day we will leave this world.

The universe is really a nothing burger, a fact that reputedly (possibly folklore) made Einstein stop in the middle of crossing a road when his companion made the observation. The universe arrived out of nothing in a quantum fluctuation so the net energy of the universe is zero. The positive energy of all the mass in the universe being exactly balanced by the negative energy in the various fields in the univeres.

It's funny because Neil deGrasse Tyson used to believe we were living in a simulation. Then he logicked it out. NDT no longer believes we're in a simulation. (Well, he ends up saying it's 50/50.) ?

13th floor is a remake by Roland Emmerich of a 1973 German TV mini series (two epises, 3.5 hours running time) called "Welt am Draht" (World on a wire) by Rainer Werner Fassbinder.


The story is based upon a book called "Simulacron-3" by Daniel F. Galouye, first published in 1964. Now imagine that... A book about a virtual reality within a virtual reality published in a year when there were only a fistful of computers on the planet and except for a few scientists working on and with those machines most people never even had seen such a machine.

Let us know when you found a solution - and obtained the power to implement it. And also let us know how you think you will be able to keep those at bay who will hate you and fight you for trying to implement peace on Earth. History teaches us that waging war is deeply rooted in the human nature - may it be for the gain of power, over ressources and territory or religious and racial beliefs. As long as there are humans, there will always be war in one form (on the battlefield) or another (for example purely economic, but also with devastating effects).

Maybe we as a species will evolve some day beyond that point - but until then, the way we fight wars will evolve right with us, from using the bones of slain animals to crush an enemy's skull over the nuclear bomb, biological weapons, digital and economic warfare and whatever somebody might conceive next that might be able to hurt the enemy du jour.

The chance of me winning the lottery is 50:50, either I do or I don't

I want to bring back to the topic, which is about science.
Please don't discuss about politic further.

Is Science discovery a waste of time (and money)?
In one point, I don't think so. Disregard what religion or belief, human has the right to find out where they come from. How the universe started? How humanity continue to survive? Maybe we never get the answer in our lifetime but it is sufficient if we get as close as possible. Then human will realize what they fight for is really worth it or meaningless.
