Although being flattered with my own position, such 'quantity' lists are hardly useful. '1 Apple + 100 rotten bananas' will always beat '99 Apples + 1 rotten banana' and '1 diamond' will never make the list. It does not represent the quality some users bring into this forum. Without adding a 'weight' to each contribution (which is very hard), you may as well just do a word count IMHO. Such lists are just 'fun' to look at once in a while (even the ones on the profile view, although they do use some weight system), but that is about it.
Everyone's personal 'Top Contributors' will be different, depending on his/her needs: if someone wrote a driver for a rare barcode printer I desperately needed for a project, he/she gets a thousand points immediately from me, while others don't find it useful at all for them. There are a lot of users 'down' those lists I personally find extremely valuable contributors. They just are probably men/women of few words.
