Android Question touch selector

hi,
how can we create a view like the one in the image attached? its like a dial thing, to select date, time, birthdate etc.

unfortuately what i want is a vertical picker like in the image where theres the selector at center and user slides the time and minute up and down and sets an alarm for example. not a drop down list. its like a casino slider where the focus is center. any ideas what it is called?
