Transparent drop downs with version 2.22

Just opened my app with version 2.22 for the first time. Whenever I select a menu item from the top menu like File-Edit-Project, Tools,etc. a transparent box (can see through it) appears but none of the drop-down items are visible. However, when I run my mouse down the box, they start to appear and remain. Is this by design? Now that I know what to do, I can live with it but it would be a distraction for a new user.

No, it should not do that. All menu items should show when the window pops up. Did you create a custom IDE file? Maybe a reboot of the machine. Let us know what you find.

Thanks, Margret. No custom IDE but I will do more checking with other applications to see if the same thing happens there. I will also reboot in a couple of days and report back.

It appears rebooting did the trick. I found later that this anomaly also occurred in another place so I figured it was the computer and not b4a that was causing the problem. Thanks again for your advice.
