Turn 3g or 4g off ?

Is it possible to Toggle 3g or 4g on/off with a service ?

I believe the Toggle Library might do that for you using the TurnDataConnectionOff method. Check it out in the Libraries forum.

Toggle Library does NOT work well with
Droid 2.2.

Is there any other way to toggle background services like dataconnection ?

Without using a Lib you would have to call the OS yourself which means you would have to reference the Android SDK and figure out which method you have to call and then how to put the syntax together to make the call.

This is beyond my skills but others here might know if it can be done that way.
