Unfortunately (Package) Has Stopped

Occasionally my app will display a message box saying "Unfortunately, (package name) Has Stopped", and the app quits. Whassup?

Have you tried running it from the IDE and check the log in the right pane?

I often forget about that but the other day I was getting force closures in my app after making some changes and debugging didn't help at all with that. I suddenly remembered the log and after reading that, it pointed me right to the problem.

RE: File Size is the Problem

This problem is occurring during a download of image files from website. It seems to bomb out when it gets to a large file. It will take some detective work to determine the point at which file size is an issue.

You should check the logs and find the error message. If you do not see it then check the unfiltered logs.
