Updating via SDK Manager (again)

Someone started a diskussion in the German subforum about problems after updating. I think that this IS still a topic as too many users are unsure about it So the question still remains. Can we (Erel) make a pinned thread about it?

It is less an issue now as I've removed the resources from the "recommended items" list.

Sorry, but I don't understand this statement Where is the "recommended items" list? There is still a "required resources" on the B4A product page.

The sdk manager downloads a list of recommended items when it starts. The recommended items are preselected, if an update is available. This encouraged developers to update the recommended items as it was a matter of a single click.

Now that the items were removed from the recommended list, developers will not update the items unless they actually search and select them.
