B4J Question Uploading files to VPS

Hi,

Currently I have my B4J app working fine on my PC, but it's now time to transfer the files to the VPS in the data center.

The following might sound simple, but never really worked much with Linux before with SSH etc.

Just wondering what is the best way in uploading / transferring the B4J app and it's files to a VPS when FTP is not available ?

Also, if I make any new changes to my B4J app, what is the best way in transferring the update to the VPS at a later time ?

Is there any tutorials that I might of missed ?

You should use a SSH client such as: https://www.bitvise.com/ssh-client
It supports SFTP file transfers. FTP is not required.

Upload the updated jar, stop the current process and start it again. See point #5 in the above tutorial.

I will have a look at them as they both look like good programs to use.

I am used of using Putty with SSH, but never used SFTP before, so might do some reading up on it.
