But how to find it using a smartphone?

Not using the GPS, it is not as accurate and if you're in a building, it does not work at all.

Exists a kind of thin low-priced chips to be applied to objects and which allows you to send small signals, or something similar?

You have also for android just search for

"Find my keys bluetooth" and you should find few options.

My own idea, is to one day, a company can make a small RFID chip and attach it on the device side.
