usb accessory permission

hey ,
When I connect my accessory I have to grant usb permission. But even though I check "always use this program..." I have to give the permission everytime the accessory is connected.

on the forum i found the following link but it's not clear to me how to solve it.

Can somebody help me ?

Have you added the device_filter xml file?

yes, but the xml file only contains an entry for the FTDI FT232R , I'm using FTDI 311D (it's recognized as an accessory)

Ok ,thank you , I got it to work. Just one more thing : Android doesn't ask for permission each time the device is connected now but it does always start my application . Can this be prevented ? My app does not need to be started each time the device is connected

I went to settings -> applications -> my app and cleared the defaults but now the usb permissions appear again... Is it not possible to have no default program for your usb device AND always have permission (so no permission popups)???
AAARGH every solution brings another problem.
