iOS Question USB functionality for FTDI chip

Is there any support for connecting an iOS device to an FDTI chip via the device's USB port in B4i?

I recently joined the MFi program and I have been looking for documentation on how to use iOS to communicate to an FTDI chip, but I cannot seem to find any information. Would you be able to point me to where in the documentation I could find how to implement that or access that feature?
