This will most probably not work. The UsbSerial can only work with several specific chips.

Hi Erel

I try usb.usb_device to find whether the webcam is existed or not? Got return value "1" that shows usb device existed. But it maybe not a webcam.
I plan to image on tablet is to use webcam instead of front camera. Would you mind to show me the solution? thanks a lot.

You cannot use UsbSerial with this device. UsbSerial only works with several usb to rs232 chips.
