Use an Imageview as a Button

Is it possible for an imageview to be used as a button? I would like to have a picture of a + and - sign as an actual button. I tried programming it the same way as I would a button, but it does not work. Any suggestions?

Take a look at the attached image from the designer. I have a button where I use a down arrow as its image. See the button properties that I defined. If this is what your are not after, then hopefully someone will give us a better solution.
