Hi everyone!
Today I tried out the UserInterfaceTabHost example, but didn't see the
views (tabs and panels) in the Abstract Designer window.. I need this
so I can adjust the views locations visually and make sure the layout is
good. At this time I can only see these views at runtime.
Any help appreciated,
Thanks in advance

Dear Klaus,
Thanks so much for your help..
sorry but I am not following!

"To see the views in the Abstract Designer you must load a file (menu File / Open) there is no default layout file loaded."

I am using the example AS IS, so which file I am missing or should load and from
which location?
Thanks in advance

After having loaded the project in the IDE:
- open the Designer
- you will see two windows, one for the Designer and one for the Abstract Designer.
- in the Abstract Designer you will see only a text 'This is the Abstract Designer Connected to...'
- to show a layout file you must in the Designer click on the menu File
- there you will see at the bottom of the menu the list of the projects layout files
- click on one of those to show it
- in the case of the UserInterfaceTabHost example you should see : Main, page1, page2 and page3 click on one of those to show that layout.

Best regards.

Klaus,
Thanks again.. may be I need to rotate (let with carry) the gray cells inside my skull (if found any).. because they are vb oriented up to this point.
until now I couldn't remove SStab Control way of life, where you visually position controls or views by dragging them to the tab.
Need to stop, forget about VB and do some home work before coding in b4a.
Thanks again.
