I've been having this problem on and off since the IDE was updated I think two releases ago. Currently using 2.52 and still see the problem. Haven't tried the beta yet.
When I open a project the all variables stay red. I have to restart the IDE or sometimes reload the project. Sometimes I just ignore it and it eventually starts working again. It will still compile OK. The project I load previously viewed fine and compiled fine.
