Bug? Visual Designer Bug: Image Selection Opens as Blank

Bug report for B4A v 5.50

When opening a .bal file in Visual Designer, there is a property in Activity Properties called "Image File". No matter which image file I select (and then save), when I re-open the same .bal file in Visual Designer in a later session, the "Image File" property is still blank - the file I chose (and saved) is no longer listed. Though the selection of available images can still be found in the drop-down below the now blank "Image File" field, Visual Designer is lot loading this property from the previous saved session.

Important, I'm sure: The .bal files were copied into the project from an older B4A 2.71 project, so I'm sure this has something to do with it.

I highly recommend you to remove all the layout variants and use anchors + designer script instead.

Please test it with a new project and see whether it also happens.

I'll do that. In the mean time, just to get things functioning as quickly as I can, what is the proper way to bring old 2.71 layouts into a 5.5 project? What is the project upgrade path by way of B4A version numbers?

You don't need to do anything special other then open the project.
