I moved question here. Unsure how to delete post in tutorial section sorry.

Hello,

Sorry for such a basic question but I am unsure if I am doing something wrong or it just doesnt happen. I created a Panel in the visual designer, i changed its color to black, but it remains the same color it was created in, in the visual designer mode. Now it changes its color when i run the app, but is there a way to make it change inside visual designer? Also i apologize if this isnt in the correct location.

yes.. you can set the background color in panel properties , also check the alpha level value maybe its set to 0(transparent)

I did set the color. And alpha set to 255. Still color unchanged inside visual editor
i understand now your question.. you can't (or maybe i dont know how) change the color of the view after you put it in the layout , i think it is random

The Visual Designer is only a placeholder for the views, it's not a WYSIWYG display.
If you connect a device via USB or B4A Bridge you'll see the correct behaviour on the device.
