I can not adjust the font size from the Visual Designer?

On what device are you running the code ?
Do have AutoScale in the layout ?
I think that the difference comes from AutoScale.

But what have you done between the two pictures ?
If you set the font size in the Designer you will get the same value when running the code !
If not, it is scaled somewhere in your project.
Be aware that AutoScale is active by default in the DesignerScript.
