Android Question waiting for ide debugger to connect

Why is this showing up when I click on the icon for my app on my device? Shouldn't it just open up like a normal app?

because you compiled it in DEBUG mode... you should compile in release mode for it to behave like a "normal" app.
that message just tells you the device is waiting for the B4A IDE to connect
