This is just a helpful note for anyone who is using mssql-jdbc-7.2.2.jre8.jar - DO NOT USE - Issue with close(), please try this mssql-jdbc-7.4.1.jre8.jar driver instead it appears to be more stable. see https://github.com/microsoft/mssql-jdbc/releases for further information.
