We make apps

Recently Eric from Overpass Apps get his account suspended I and have imagine myself having my account suspended.
You can search You Tube for his last videos, he is somehow history now from my knowledge he had most revenue from one app got over 3000 installs per day....per day!!!
He starts his videos like I am Eric and I make apps.... now no apps published as his google developer account has suspended , very sad and I will remember this day for the rest of my life.

Happy for those developers that develop apps for fun and keep the joy of programming and building things without asking for money, finding the joy of development is the thing that maters , thing that bring people together and help each other.
Thank you for this wonderful community where you all help us get our apps live on Google Play !
It does not mater how many installs you have , it's our apps, our work.

You finally make an app that got to top on search results ,what's next ? How do you protect your work ?

I discovered Erics Channel like a year ago. Seems to be a really nice person and I like his videos.

As a business man I have to say that its NEVER a good idea to completly rely on one customer/platform. The thing is that Google and Apple do have a monopoly with their AppStores and you cant do anything to avoid them when you want to create Apps for end-customers.

Im really happy that I dont have to rely on one of thos platforms but if you have to, you should always keep in mind that the one who owns the platform is the boss and not you.

Haven't watched the videos, why were his apps suspended? Was he copying another company or did another company file a case against him?

What his whole account, I know that his ear agent app was taken off from the store then reinstated, but I've not watched any of his videos in the last couple of days as I've been busy.

What poor Eric, I'll send him a message of support shortly as we have previously interacted with each other in the past...

We have known for a long time that the mechanisms of Google Play are somewhat... strange (at least).

Your main faults are:

1 - you speak too quickly, so I need subtitles ?
2 - you should have created an app to learn Italian, not Spanish ?


a - Google loves to be teased: create a new account, they won't be able to find out.
b - publish your apps elsewhere, so you will save the 30% Google pretends.
c - close also the Italian Prime Minister's mouth, since he also talks often (unluckily) about corona virus.



BTW "virus" is Latin, so it should not be pronounced in English. You should pronounce it a bit like in English you would pronounce"vyroos".

a. they will log IP addresses and store cookies so that they will get triggered that you are trying with another account

b. if you sell you'll lose a cut of it. all of them do it I guess but maybe 20 or 25%. These platforms costs money on hosting, maintenance etc.

If you have a fixed IP and don't clear your cookies

that's better than nothing but it won't help with visibility on the other store(s) if people download it from your site.

most people just put google play & and apple store links on their own site.

less worries if google employed more people instead of creating buggy app scanning bots.

I susspended myself several apps from my google account

You make another account , but what about the ranking of your app and all revenues that is gone ?

I have a problem , I have an account that brings me 1000 $ bucs /day ...I cand make other 4 accounts to get 4x1000 $ ...actually reality is different , tomorrow you may not get 10% from what you have earned on your first account

1000 $ / day ...so 30 000 $ / month wow

as mentioned before there are some cheaters that abuse this method and have the same game several times in the store and stealing visibility for those who play it fair.
(look for example for bubble shooter or blast games)

Perhaps today it is more likely that your site (with apps) will be found rather than your apps will be found within the millions of apps published on the store.

Actually Erics ear agent app was thee first of its kind on both apps store many many many years ago and that one app brings him in a few grand a month. On the play store it was once banned (years after it was released) for having the words spy in the title and or description (it used to be called ear spy), it was then re-instated after appeal and re-branding.

Then a few months ago believe it or not, Google themselves brought out an app that looks basically exactly the same as Erics ear agent sound amplifying hearing help app but with less settings, not long after Google brought out their app they banned Erics app for being able to listen to or boost audio to the headphones when all it's doing is listening to sound and amplifying it the exact same way as Google new app does. Erics was the first to do that kind of app on both app stores but years later Google tried to penalise his app. Erics also has lots of language apps on both stores and was once again one of the first to do that sort of thing. He is always making videos helping other developers letting them know what they should and shouldn't be doing on both stores. Once again it looks like Google crappy algorithms has struck again as it appears that the algorithms thinks that his apps are trying to profit from the corona virus issue around the world. The problem is that none of his apps mention the virus and are definitely not trying to make money from the corona virus,

Andy you should do a quick google play store search for 'ear agent' and see how many copy cat apps there are now, but Eric released the first ever one years ago and even Googles design looked like Erics own when they removed his from the play store.

Here is Googles COPY of Erics ear agent.

Basically Googles algorithms are rubbish and when Eric contacts Google support team about any banned apps or issues, Google human teams always agree with him and reinstate his apps. But the account strikes are strangely and ridiculously always left in place and Google has a silly 3 strikes and you are out ruling even if all 3 strikes are because of their algorithms automatically striking users for totally the wrong reasons.

When you get fired without not having the chance to repair your mistakes ... get you pissed off

why the hell they created keywords...optimisation and they sell also videos of how to become first on google play ....then they cut you off ...sorry you did not tried enough its like a bad joke

jap, my new App "Faster Insta Saver" is suspended, because i have use the instagram logo in the background, so i have send him a other icon, but they dont give me a chance... they suspend apps without a warning, this is not good....

Is it the right time to make the next big jump?
Maybe not yet, but G is running short of alphabet chars..
