How can I add extra request headers with websocket client library ?

Yes.
The following attached I did inspected by chrome.

Currently it is not possible to add headers to the upgrade request. Why do you need it? WebSockets are different than standard http requests. Once the connection was upgrades you can send whichever data you like.
