WebView and disabled standard browser

Is it possible ?
To use custom application with WebView, but standard Android brouser is to be "disabled" ?
I mean starting of the standard browser is not allowed any how.

You cannot disable the standard browser. You can however mark your application as an application that handles html pages and then it will be displayed in the list of applications that can open a html file.
