WebView and Google map

Hi

I manage to open google map based on my location using this thread:

now next step that I wish to do is, on the webview (google map) when I click on the map, I will get back the lat and lon
how do I do it? since there isn't any webview_click event...

I tested the code from post#8 on my Nexus One without any trouble.

But on my Asus TF700 tablet it takes a long time to get all the tiles onto the screen. Zooming in and zooming out has also some strange behaviour.
Unfortunately I don't know where the problem does come from. It seems that the refreshing of the tiles in the WebView has some trouble on big screens.
