Weird problem/issue with full screen

I have been writing an application which makes use of several different layouts.
The project is set to run in full screen mode (tried both with and without show title) and all of the layouts are also set to show in full screen mode. However, not all of them run in full screen. I have tried commenting out all code in the create activity other than the activity.loadlayout. I have also tried using a layout that usually works in full screen by saving over a layout that wasn't working!
It really has me flummoxed! Is there a program line I can write to force the activity to go full screen?

full screen, title in project? activity?

I've tried various permutations of setting full screen on/off with/without show title for project settings, and same for the layout in the designer.
Some of my layouts display in full screen, some don't!

I just tried setting full screen on, with show titles in project, with same in one of the dodgy activities, and that has sorted that one.
I still have one activity/layout that still isn't working, looks like I'll just have to keep fiddling.

The target device is a Samsung I5500, the designer reports 240x320, scale 0.75 120dpi (same as variant?), but the resolution seems to be 320x420!

and still problems

First of all, many thanks for the replies so far. I am still experiencing problems with this!

I have 2 layouts (see screenshots), one displays in full screen, the other not. You can see the activity properties are the same and the variant setting matches the attached device.

The project properties are full screen and show title.

I cannot fathom for the life in me why this is the case. I also attach the two .bal files. All are in the zip file.

Any ideas gratefully received.

D'oh, I am so dim!

I have just twigged that each activity has its own settings for full screen and show title. I had assumed it was a setting for the entire project.
