What are the character encoding types for TextWriter?

The documentation is unclear for B4A as well.

In section 15.9.6 Text Encoding of the B4 Beginners guide (v3.2), UTF-8 encoding is given with a dash between UTF and 8. But in the example there is no dash.

But when Windows-1252 is specified in the example, the dash remains.

Is it "UTF8" or "UTF-8"? "Windows-1252" or "Windows1252"? "UTF16" or "UTF-16" ?

I guess the encoding has to be one of these that are supported by java

It doesn't matter. All of them will work.
