No! I do not talk about me, I do not even remember where I live.

I have a lot of ram memory that was used in 386. They are warehouse inventories of many years ago. I never threw it.

What use can they do today? (excluding throwing them) :p

I accept suggestions

You can sort them: with gold contacts you get 26 € / kg, with silver contacts 13 €; but i think, 1 kg is a lot!

There's a bit of PC history in this pic!

May be wrong but I think that most of these memories are dynamic so they need refresh and are not suitable for "simple" hardware. Also their access (address and data buses) is parallel and nowadays, mostly for hardware simplicity (and since speeds have raised a lot) most memories used in such hardware are serial SPI or I2C. --> I guess that a 1Mbit SPI RAM chip will cost you far less than the additional hardware required to use them ;)

Seems that the ones on the bottom right are 8+1(parity) 256kx1-bit memory chips. They are also sold in ebay, so if you have many of them....

I used some of those as some sort of keyhanger on these fabric CD wallets. easier to carry the wallet when having your hands full and easier to open it.

At this point I can customize the wall clock, replacing the hands with ram sticks :p
