This may sound stupid, but can B4A be insalled and compiled on an Android tablet. I can find no information on this. Can this only be insalled on a Windows machin?

If it can be installed on an Android, what is the proceess?

I am looking to buy an Amazon fire. Is this usable to develop Apps?

For sure App that you develop run about all device ( also Tablet of course ) but what mean "and compiled". You have B4A that run in windows... and App ( apk ) that run with android device

i guess i was not clear. Can B4X programs be written and developed on an Amazon fire?

No. B4X will only run on Windows as it requires the Microsoft .Net framework.
