Where is my post?

Okay, as follow up to this:

I noticed this yesterday. I created a new thread in B4R tutorials and posted my code. Later I was looking at "Forums - New Posts 999" (always shows???) and my thread was not visible. Anyone else noticed this? Are all new threads included automatically in this menu option?

If I select "New posts" and then "Recent Posts" on the right hand side, it is visible. Am I missing something?

From my understanding:
New posts are posts you haven't opened.
As soon as you open a thread and then you open another one the number decreases and the thread is no more visible in the New posts list. For me t
If you click on Recent posts all are displayed.
And for me this is as it should work, you see only the threads with new posts not yet opened.
The number besides New posts is the number of posts and not the number of threads.
If there are 3 new posts in a thread, the number shows +3 but only the thread is shown in the list.

New Posts = posts that you haven't read yet.

Your posts will never appear there.

You can see your posts in the profile page -> posting tab.

I have changed my bookmark to show recent posts instead. Many thanks.

To 'remove' new posts you are not intereted in you can click on Mark Forums Read at the right side.
