"Who to vote for in tomorrow's election?"

I don't know if any of you have listened to "Lionel of Lionel Nation" on Youtube. He is a lawyer and political pundit and has a rational view of world events. He uses his legal mind to take apart current events and gives you the back story. He is also quite funny at times.

Anyways, more to the point. In the American Presidential Election from last year, since Lionel doesn't like either party, he voted for himself. I found his attitude incredibly funny and refreshing. "I don't like any candidate in this election so I'm voting for MYSELF!" If more people did this, maybe we would all have a better democratic system.

BTW, if I ever ran for political office, I would legally change my name to "None of the Above" and I'm certain I would win virtually every election.

What would we say if a North Korean member bought a copy and wrote to Erel to delete this thread because it's political and sarcastic to NK leaders and nation..
Just wondering what our answer might be.
Anywhere Software, like MS is an international software company neutral to all nations.

we are making jokes about a guy that abuses his own civilians

we are not laughing about people, religion, race... we are talking cynically about a dictator and i am not talking about @Informatix game.

I don't think that absolutely any north-american got offended because of that, and it shouldn't be different in this case.
On the contrary, there's plenty of apps, memes and jokes sarcastic to politicians in internet ( https://imgflip.com/memesearch?q=kim , https://imgflip.com/memesearch?q=trump ), and even in serious media, which, by no means , are an attack to the people of that country. Believe me I am also totally against that.
On the other side, some of the posts here have been absolutely brilliant!!

From our side yes.. But put yourself in their shoes. The point is not the NK is not a democracy or Kim is elected by the NK people. The point is many people don't seek truth and whatever the regime in NK is, and if there's a member here.. He may just invoke the forum rules. I once posted my opinion about one president and that was considered political so I immediately understood.

Understand.. but a few weeks ago I talked about pres Trump and my post was considered political. Trump is not elected by the American people, Clinton received 3 million votes more than him in the popular vote.. in the electoral college votes now Comey said it was the Russians who (broke) the electronic machines in Florida and the state was handed to him. But then when I said something to this effect my post was considered political. By no means I was talking about the citizens, but about Trump.
Shall I now continue to discuss and prove Trump is in fact a dictator and lier... etc?

i must say i am really surprised from your post. you compare USA to North Korea and Trump to Kim??
do you know how people in NK lives? do you know that they cannot exit their country? do you know that the only TV channel they have is about worship their King (Kim)? do you know that people are executed there with no trial? did you know that Kim ordered that all Men in NK should have the same Hair Cut as him? did you know that the NK TV was reporting in Olmypics 2016 that NK won all gold medals? do you know that people there may not say or even think what they want? i can keep going with a lot of facts but you can google for it.

and if we now compare USA. USA has the biggest democracity in the world. you can wear what you want, you can say what you want, you can leave and return to usa whenever you want, you have free internet, free tv, free radio. everybody can laugh about everybody.
look how your elected president is fooled by all night shows. it already disgust me and he is not my president. in every single possibility tv people laugh about him. for me as someone that see it from outside its really bad because if his own people dont take him seriously why should i do it?? believe me trump is not kim. so talking about trump is a political issue but talking about a dictator is a question of how to help those poor people under his regime.

please dont compare a nation with modern values and freedom of everything to a poor nation lead by a dictator that can kill, rape, slave you anytime, anywhere anyhow he wants without anyone that will save you.

you know when the jewish people were in agypt slaves by pharaoh they were 5 generation there. few generations were already born as slaves. they did not knew anything else. when moses came to rescue them they didnot want to leave agypt. they were afraid because people are afraid of new things. but it doesnot mean they dont care about the truth. the dont understand the truth. take north korean people that did managed to escape north korea by risking their lives and ask them if they would like to return to north korea and tell me please what they told you. i really would like to hear their answer.

Already stated I was not comparing nations.
With regards to pres. Trump and Kim.. Many Americans think he is a dictator-in-the-making.. If he got the chance.. He asked director Coney for loyalty.. Bit with all his attempts to become a dictator I am still not comparing him to Kim.. But the difference between them is in degree not in kind.
Regarding the American people.. It's one of the most beautiful people in the world, if not the most.. without them.. and if they were like any other people then we could have ended up with a new Hitler. So again, no one is talking about the peoples.. Even the NKrean people is great people oppressed by a dictator and they are longing for the day of freedom.

I was so hoping this thread would get locked early.
It doesn't matter how much of the popular votes Clinton received, it all depends on the electoral college. It's been that way for 200+ years, seems to be working okay.
I was at work when Comey testified, so I didn't see it. But I'm sure if he said Florida was hacked, it would be all over the news. I haven't seen anything about it. Even if they were hacked, that would only be 29 electoral votes and Clinton would have still lost.
Trump may be a liar, I don't know, but what politician doesn't stretch the truth? But we do have checks and balances in place to make sure he is not and does not become a dictator.

By some people do not seek the truth I mean if NK members came here they may only see the forum rules and not the truth about their leader.
That said, the example of the Jewish people in exile can hardly relate to the topic.. eastern Germans were risking their lives to flee to Berlin.. NK citizens who have the ability to flee are fleeing and many of them lost their lives.
My concern was about the health of the forum.. any political opinion, even against a known dictator can drag to unknown ends.. if some members are not after the truth they can defend their leader blindly.. this is what I mean.
Do you think everyone expressed his views at this time?

Yes I watched Comey testifying and he was positive Russians hacked a number of the electronic machines.. those machines operated by touch screen and it's impossible to recount the votes. In fact Trump invited the Russians to hack US citizens who were running to rule and lead.. foreign spies to spy on your own citizens? imagine. if this is not treason then what do you call it? We wait and the running investigation will show everything.

@Beja Kim wouldn't have asked Coney, Kim would have just taken him out the same way he took his own uncle out a few years ago, say no more.

I've not once tore into Trump (even though there lots to say about him lol), who was strangely somehow elected in by intelligent Americans (and yes I do know how the electoral college system works). But little brat Kim was never elected, he was passed the dictatorship because his old man 'kicked the bucket', since then things have gotten even worse in NK, there's lots to say about Kim so I'll just keep tearing into the little twerp.

Anyway, as I said previously. I think that Kim might be a well know member of this community and just like 'Keyser Söze', nobody knows who he actually is . Kim loves B4X this will not let us know who he really is
